Apprentice (Learn & Earn Program)

No experience? No problem. As an Apprentice, you’ll learn while you work on real projects. From day one, you contribute to the crew, build your skills step by step, and earn a paycheck as you progress through our training levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist painters and crew leaders with preparation and cleanup.
  • Learn to use tools, rollers, brushes, and safety equipment.
  • Practice painting techniques under supervision.
  • Progress through training levels (1–4) with clear milestones.
  • Show up ready to work, learn, and grow every day.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable attendance and respect for the team.
  • Physical ability to handle tools, ladders, and materials.
  • Long-term interest in becoming a professional painter.

Painter (Residential & Commercial)

Our painters bring skill and precision to every project. From neat cut lines to flawless finishes, this role is for professionals who take pride in transforming spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform interior and exterior painting with attention to detail.
  • Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, patching) before painting.
  • Apply coatings with brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
  • Follow safety standards and protect client property.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Previous painting experience (preferred but not always required).
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to craftsmanship and professionalism.

Crew Leader

Crew Leaders are mentors and project managers in one. If you’re ready to lead by example, keep jobs on schedule, and guide apprentices, this role is your step forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a small team of painters and apprentices.
  • Organize daily tasks and keep projects on track.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and supervisors.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on every job.
  • Provide on-site training and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Solid painting experience (minimum 3+ years recommended).
  • Leadership skills and reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive work vehicles.

Production Manager

Our Production Managers are the bridge between planning and execution. They ensure that every project runs smoothly, on schedule, and meets our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily operations and scheduling for multiple crews.
  • Oversee material orders, tools, and job site readiness.
  • Monitor progress and resolve challenges in real time.
  • Ensure safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support Crew Leaders with training, coaching, and resources.

Requirements:

  • Experience in painting, construction, or related project management.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Estimator & Sales Person

Our Estimators are often the first point of contact with clients. This role combines technical knowledge with people skills to help customers make informed decisions and feel confident about their projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit clients to evaluate homes and businesses for painting needs.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and present project proposals.
  • Explain materials, timelines, and processes clearly.
  • Build trust and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Work with the production team to ensure smooth project handoff.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles (preferred).
  • Knowledge of painting processes and materials (training provided).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to measure, calculate, and prepare detailed estimates.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to customer care.

Subcontractor (Partner Program)

Our Subcontractors are professional painting crews or small companies that partner with FreshCoat Works to deliver exceptional results across residential and commercial projects. This collaboration allows established teams to grow their business while benefiting from our trusted brand, project flow, and quality systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional, high-quality painting and finishing work on assigned projects.
  • Maintain communication and coordination with FreshCoat Works project managers.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards for safety, cleanliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Manage your own crew, materials, and transportation.
  • Represent the FreshCoat Works brand with professionalism on every job site.

Requirements:

  • Licensed and insured painting company or established professional crew.
  • Proven experience in residential or commercial painting.
  • Strong commitment to reliability, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet schedules and maintain high performance standards.
  • Desire to build a long-term partnership under the FreshCoat Works quality framework.
